Private Label & OEM
Both routes end with your brand on the product. They differ in who owns the design, and that decides your tooling cost, your lead time and how much of the work sits with your team.
| OEM — you bring the design | ODM — we adapt ours | |
|---|---|---|
| You supply | Tech pack, patterns or a physical reference sample | A reference from our existing lines plus your changes |
| Design ownership | Yours — we build only to your specification | Ours, modified for you and produced under your label |
| Typical first sample | 3–4 weeks — patterns are cut and graded from scratch | 10–14 days — an existing block is adapted |
| Tooling | New dies, patterns and embossing plates as required | Usually only a branding die |
| Best when | You have a defined product and want it built exactly | You want to launch quickly and refine from a proven base |
Minimums are per line rather than one figure for the whole business, because a wallet and a motorcycle suit are not the same production problem. These are read live from the catalogue.
| Product line | MOQ (units) | Indicative unit price | Options in catalogue |
|---|---|---|---|
| Belt | 2–40 | $14–$15.50 | 46 |
| Wallet | 5–50 | $12–$13.50 | 125 |
| Backpack | 20–90 | $42–$50 | 6 |
| Biker Jackets | 20–30 | $85–$90 | 11 |
| Duffle Bag | 20–30 | $52–$60 | 9 |
| Leather Jackets | 20–30 | $70–$80 | 17 |
| Motorcycle Jacket | 20–30 | $60 | 51 |
| Motorcycle Pants | 20–30 | $38–$51 | 26 |
| Motorcycle Suit | 20–30 | $195 | 21 |
| Purse | 50 | $7.50 | 4 |
Ex-works per piece before branding, packaging, freight and duties. Below-minimum first orders are sometimes possible on a trial basis at a higher unit price — ask rather than assume.
A complete brief is quoted in days; an incomplete one turns into a fortnight of questions. Nothing here needs to be a formal document — annotated photographs and a sample garment work perfectly well.
What it is, and how many per style and colour on the first order.
Drawings, patterns, a competitor product, or a sample we can take apart.
Leather type, substance and colour — or ask us to propose one against a use case.
Zips, buckles, thread and lining, with brands if you have a standard.
Logo artwork as vector, plus where it goes and how: deboss, foil, patch or woven label.
Your in-store date and the market you sell into, since sizing and certification follow from it.
OEM means you bring the design — a tech pack, patterns, or a physical sample — and we build precisely to it. ODM means you start from one of our existing products and we adapt it for you: your leather, your hardware, your branding, your changes to the block. OEM gives you a product nobody else has and takes about three to four weeks to first sample. ODM reaches a sample in ten to fourteen days because the pattern already exists.
It is set per product line, not as one figure for the business, and every line's current minimum is listed in the table above straight from our catalogue. Small leather goods such as wallets and belts carry the lowest minimums we offer; bags and outerwear are higher because the cutting and assembly are longer. Below-minimum trial orders are sometimes possible at a higher unit price — ask rather than assume.
No. A tech pack makes quoting faster and more accurate, but it is not a prerequisite. Annotated photographs, a sketch with dimensions, or a physical sample we can take apart are all workable starting points. If you have none of those, describe the product and the price point and we will propose a specification for you to react to.
Typically eight to fourteen weeks. Quoting takes two to five business days on a complete brief. First sample is ten to fourteen days for ODM and three to four weeks for OEM. Allow a round of revisions on the sample. Bulk production then runs three to six weeks depending on quantity and how many styles and colours are in the order, before shipping time.
Always, and we would not accept a bulk order without one. You approve a physical pre-production sample before anything is cut in volume. Sample charges are quoted per product and are commonly credited against the first bulk order — confirm this in writing at quote stage, since it depends on the tooling involved.
Yours, throughout. Embossing and debossing, foil and pigment fill, custom edge paint, woven and printed labels, hangtags, care cards, polybags and retail-ready boxing are all done in house. Nothing carries our name unless you ask for it. Dies are a one-off cost on the first order and are then stored and reused free on repeats.
Usually yes. Send the physical product rather than photographs — we can measure the panels, identify the leather substance and finish, and match the hardware. We will tell you honestly where we can match it, where we would deviate, and where we think the original specification could be improved for the same money.
